The You You Used To Be

A quiet place to think … to commune with Mother Nature … to visit with God or the Universe … or even to find again what it was like to be the you you used to be. Everyone needs a time and place to do this … to feel alive … to let life sift through our physical being just as light sifts through the leaves on the trees in a spring forest.  Close your eyes, breathe deep … again … now open your eyes … life is good!

I digitally hand painted this image in Corel Painter 2015 from a photograph I took at Brighton Azalea Gardens in Montgomery County, Maryland in May, 2015.  I was enjoying getting to know the Nikon D750 and the Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8 lens. The lovely hint of texture is one I’ve had for a long time and don’t think I’ve ever used.  It’s from Flypaper Textures.

As always, a click on the image will take you to my website for a better resolution version of the image, where you’ll find fun purchase options, like, say … a tote bag …
